Oktoberfest 2012 Dates
Get your dirndl or lederhosen ready… the 2012 Oktoberfest is kicking off September 22, and is expected to be bigger and better than ever! Locals and tourists alike will be flocking to Theresienwiese (Princess Therese’s field) in Munich, Germany – for the beer-drinking, pretzel-eating and rollercoaster-riding, time of your life.
Celebrate in one of Oktoberfest’s 14 massive beer tents, each of which holds up to 10,000 pissed punters, and has their very own distinct flavour (serving their flagship beer and decorated with a unique theme). The big party finishes up on the 7th October, so make sure you get in before it’s over and don’t forget to sort your beer tent tickets and accommodation nice and early.
